There has been more than plenty of research that leads to medicinal benefits from the cannabis plant.
Before the 1930s prohibition, cannabis was widely-used as a medicine. The claim of schedule 1 drug is misleading because it does in fact have medicinal value.
There should be no reason why someone in Colorado has more medical options to treat themselves than someone living in Texas, Kansas or any part of the country were it is an arrest-able offence. We all deserve the right to choose our medicine.
We are not asking for out-right legalization but for those who really need it the most!
