People that suffer from heart-wrenching diseases such as: Alzheimer's Disease, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Glaucoma, Arthritis, Depression, Anxiety, Hepatitis C, and people that are suffering through chemotherapy, all may need to find a medication that helps them. The problem is that often legal medications do not help them alleviate their symptoms. Legalizing medical marijuana would help many of these suffering people.
Economically, the government will save lots of money on the cost of law enforcement to control marijuana abuse. Billions of dollars could be raised from the taxation of Marijuana. With these two components of legalization in mind, America could greatly benefit in our currently struggling economy.
