The Purpose of this petition is to help people that suffer from a chronic pain or aliment (such as Glaucoma, Spine or back issues, Depression, Lyme's Disease, Cancer, Epilepsy, etc.), who are not "Pot Heads" or "Criminals". Patients who have problems handing the over the counter prescribed pain medication should be allowed an alternative and natural substitute. Everyone, not just select states, should be able to have this option presented to them without feeling like a drug addict. Please support the movement of legalizing Medical Marijuana for the good of the people, and stop putting people who need this source of medication to live life in the pursuit of happiness and relieve the diagnosed issues they have. Doing so will create jobs, and keeps good people out of jail or even Prison.
