We are petitioning the Legalization of Mixed Martial Arts in New York. New York politics and corruption is the only reason NY is being deprived of millions of dollars in revenue and thousands of new jobs. Assemblymen Sheldon Silver is doing New Yorkers a disservice in not allowing this to get to the assembly floor for a vote. It easily passed the senate and Silver had reason to let it do to the floor for a vote. The sport is legal in all but 2 states with an athletic commission. The politicians in NY should be ashamed and embarrassed that MMA is still not legal in NY.
