We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Legalize Monetary Incentivization of Organ Donation

Created by C.P. on July 13, 2016

As of January 1st 2016 there are 121,678 people living in the US waiting for necessary life saving organ transplants, 83% of which are waiting for kidneys. The general populace has no reason to donate a kidney for a stranger, and finding a match withing an individuals family is not always easy or even possible. Currently monetary compensation is illegal due to how it devalues human rights and the human body should not be treated as property. However, the need is still there, and adding an incentive will save many lives along with promoting fellowship with our fellow Americans. A standard value should be set for life saving donations in order to solve this problem and help give under privileged Americans a chance in life if they wish to take it.
