In an era in which you can find a casino at every corner in states across America, a lottery at every convenient store, online gambling should be legalized.
Particularly, until the 2006 passing of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act that was attached to a port security bill, online gambling was legal de facto in the United States. As a citizen of this country, I find it abhorrent the United States Government can dictate the legality of online gambling and how I choose to wager my money. I find it ironic too a Government who cannot balance a budget and gambles with the future of our country legislates a moral compass in this area.
I petition the President to legalize online gambling in the United States of America.
