The United States, currently, does not allow online gambling to occur here. This is because of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006. The U.S. is missing out on revenue to other countries because it is illegal to run an online gambling site and illegal to frequent one in the U.S. In a time when we should be welcome this kind of revenue, we are pushing it out the door.
