Many Americans life in chronic pain and the stress can cause mental illness such that they cannot work. These people end up on medicare and disability causing a huge burden on the entire society. Some of us cannot receive a diagnosis or have had a SSR 82 60 reported against us making it so we will never receive the care we deserve. The money that can be made off of over the counter painkillers if made legal can be taxed and used to supplement the increasingly higher and higher costs of medical care for those who live with chronic illness both mental and physical. As a human rights issue I and many other Americans do not deserve to be forced to live in pain just because we cannot find a diagnosis or prove the pain we are in. In a truly free market we should have access to opioid painkiller.
