Polygamy like same sex marriage is about love in this case it is the love of more than one person. Arguments have been made that polygamy is anti religious, however poly has appeared as far back as written history in many religions including Christianity. Also, polygamist families function better than a traditional family if done correctly, there is more income to be applied to a single house hold, more parents to help with children's needs, there is always another partner available when one is not. It just makes sense.
