The practice of prostitution should be legal for willing adults over the age of 18. We as American people have the right of "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Many Americans associate money to their quality of life, and prostitution could be one way to make a profit. If prostitution was legalized, there would be laws in place to protect sex workers & their clients. Sex workers would have to apply for a license, undergo health checks regularly, attend an educational course on reproductive health, and meet other requirements concerning mental & physical health.
Note: Out of 100 countries(including the U.S.) surveyed on their legal status for prostitution, 50 were legal, 11 had limited legality, and 39 were illegal.
