Legalize prostitution in America

Sex. A profession longer than time its self. Prostitution is considered to be the worlds oldest profession, and yet your government, my government, OUR government suppresses the inevitable. Did you know that a high-end escort in the la aria can earn upwards of 20 grand a month, an average prostitute makes something more like 3,500. Did you know that there were approximately 88,000 arrests in 2004 the field of prostitution (and that's an under-estimate)? That number is just america alone. Did you know that in the state of California the income tax is approximately 10.3% Do the math that is about 30 million in taxes. I have a lot over other points such as safety, and the inevitability of it, but I have limited room so I'm going to end here.
