Marijuana is a natural and harmless plant that has many uses. Marijuana is also safer than nicotine and alcohol, yet nicotine and alcohol are legal while marijuana is made illegal. Marijuana has many medicinal uses as well and should be legal to use as a medicine if one so chooses. The war on marijuana has overpopulated our prison systems and costs the U.S. more money than it helps anything, if made legal it would not only save money by lowering the prison population but it would gain more money in the tax revenue it would generate. We the people need to stand up and take action! It's about time the failed war on marijuana ends and the lives of those affected given back!
