Legalize the recreational use of marijuana by 2015.

Created by C.W. on February 03, 2014

Marijuana is not a harmful drug, and certainly not a schedule I substance, as it is recognized by the DEA. Research has shown that marijuana is helpful for pain, anxiety, stress, illness, etc. Also, it's not as debilitating as alcohol, and nowhere near as addictive as the former or nicotine. Morphine and other addictive and dangerous substances are given out to people to help them with pain. With these drugs, it's incredibly easy to overdose on. It's not physically possible to overdose on marijuana. With these reasons, I can't imagine why the government would hold this "drug" as an evil and terrible substance.
