This petition has been created in order to give the state of Alabama the right to grow, regulate, and recreationally use marijuana. This legal action will help the economy and well being of Alabama and the United States by allowing this taxable substance to be bought and sold by of age users within the state. Legalization will also aid in law enforcement by cutting back on the many arrests and legal conflicts caused by illegal use. In turn, this will cut back on the spending of tax dollars to incarcerate these "criminals," therefore benefiting the economy of the state and the States.
