It is time for the legalization of marijuana and other naturally occurring substances which help an individual to explore one's own consciousness in a safe manner. There is not one recorded incident of a death directly related to marijuana use, but there have been thousands of deaths which are the directly result of marijuana laws. It was unfortunately thrown into the same category as opiates during the beginning of the 1900's and through grossly negligent propaganda, marijuana has received a stigma that it is a harmful plant. The federal government has completely over-stepped its boundaries through the process and illegalization of marijuana.
