Legalize, Regulate and Tax Marijuana in a manner similar to alcohol

We beleive that the "War On Drugs" is a failure and it is time for change. 20 million people are imprisoned each year for possession alone. Harmless citizens are locked up and treated like violent criminals. Marijuana is not even allowed to be study in America, without research how does the government deemed unfit for consumption. When the DEA is asked why they wont re-schedule marijuana when asked why they say they don't have research to back up anything but when asked they deny permission. It is time for change, why waste the DEA and law enforcement budget on somthing so trivial as a plant? The government can regulate it to where distributers of marijuana can't advertise and make it where they cant be within a mile of a school.Alcohol kills, Marijuana doesn't. why not add a safer option
