To legalize the sale and distribution of marijuana to the people as a taxable substance under the same laws as alcohol.

I would like for the Obama administration to legalize marijuana not only on a medical basis in all states, but as a recreational substance available to the public that is within age limits to obtain it. I think that it should be harvested not only for its medical and recreational benefits but also as a profitable income, not only to the people but to the United States economy. Taxes will be implemented to assure a positive income, and also regulate the sales to prove this is a profitable business not only for the American public but for the nation as a whole. This plant can also be harvested for it hemp properties thus making it doubly profitable. Place the same laws on this plant as you would on any other recreational drug such as alcohol.
