I believe that same-sex marriage should be legalized everywhere, but I would like to start in my home state.
I believe that no matter anyone's religion, two people who truly love each other should be able to marry. It should not be anyone else's choice.
You would not tell someone not to eat a piece of cake because YOU'RE on a diet, correct? Then why should other people have a say in someone else's marriage?
Your beliefs do no matter to them. You do not get a say in whether two people can get married. It is their choice, not yours.
