Legalize Same-Sex Marriage. Why can people be denied the right to marry because of how they feel and who they are attracted to. The Declaration of Independence says, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." Yet we are denying people their pursuit of happiness. Why do people care about two people of the same sex getting married, even though it does not affect them.
