The law that allows police officers to stop people on the streets and search them is not called Stop and Frisk; it is called Stop, Question, and Frisk. People say that it is racist, but at what point do we value racism over peoples lives. New York City legalized it and Chicago did not, and look at the differences in crime in these two cities. New York's homicide rate is at a record low, but in Chicago last year thousands of people died from murders. We need safety for our people in urban areas because the majority of the country lives in non-rural areas.
