President Obama recently stated that marijuana is safer than alcohol, then why is marijuana scheduled as a class 1 drug but I can walk into a liquor store and buy as much alcohol as I want?
I do not believe that making marijuana legal will make it easier for younger people to get their hands on it, I believe it will actually prevent a lot of younger people from getting their hands on it, stores will ask for ID when purchasing it, it will put drug dealers out of business, and regardless of what people say it IS NOT a gateway drug recent medical research has actually shown that marijuana weans people off of harder drugs, why would any one want to go buy meth if they can just walk to a nearby store and buy marijuana, tax generated will fund education, build schools, and stimulate the economy
