Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) is a natural occurring molecule of the tryptamine family. When you sleep at night DMT is released in your brain producing the effect that we call "dreaming". For some reason, the government has classified this drug as a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance, because it has "no medicinal use". Well neither does tobacco yet it is legal to smoke in our country. DMT has no known negative effects on the human body due to its natural occurrence in the brain. There is no legitimate reason for the restriction of this "drug" other than the government cannot successfully regulate it. I repeat myself, it has no known negative effects. While on a DMT trip the user is pushed into delta wave sleep therefor excluding any danger of injury while the drug is in the body, unlike LSD.
