It is wrong to criminalize medical marijuana, even if you do not agree with its being an effective drug for pain relief & other medical uses. All people have the right to make their own medical decisions. Thus, criminalizing medical marijuana is a human rights violation. By criminalizing this use, our country is also wasting millions of dollars in paying for arrests, trials, jail sentences & appeals. Medical marijuana dispensers are not criminals. Neither they nor their families deserve to undergo the emotional & financial devastation that being in prison brings. These countless millions of dollars are decreasing revenues which could be used for Federal assistance programs that may be cut! Come to your senses; decriminalize medical marijuana & make better use of our money & resources.
