The United States FCC currently bans the use of cell and other radio signal jamming technologies unless an authorized agent of the US Government. We feel that we should be able to use jamming technologies as long as they do not hinder emergency communications.
Individuals and business should be able to block WiFi, Bluetooth and certain frequencies at their homes or businesses as long as they leave emergency frequencies open. They would need to be limited to blocking/jamming a radius within the geographic limits of their place of business or living quarters.
At the very least we should have the ability to research and develop technologies that can jam certain frequencies while leaving others open. The current laws make doing such R&D very difficult.
