Refusal of the federal government to do the right thing and recognize medical uses for marijuana has to stop. Marijuana has been scientifically shown to have true medicinal purposes and an effective treatment for issues such as cancer, chronic pain, PTSD, insomnia and more. How in good conscious can our legal system continue to ignore the facts? When the legal drugs that are being prescribed for treatment are harder on a person's body than a drug that has similar or even better results in some cases, how can it be criminalized by a government elected by the people for the people? The time has come for the peoples' cries to be heard. The time for patients to have an alternative treatment method for things that pharmaceutical companies have failed in treating is now America.
