We believe that marijuana should be decriminalized, and legalized for recreational use for people 21 and up. Doing this would open up new job opportunities, and clear out many of our jails which would save tax payer's money as well. Marijuana has also been proven to be medically beneficial in many ways such as for; glaucoma, pain relief, insomnia, anorexia, and many other medical conditions. The so-called negative effects do not stand up to all the positive effects. If cigarettes and alcohol can be legal being carcinogens then it would be highly applicable to legalize marijuana.
