Legalize the Use of Medical Marijuana

This petition Advocates the legalization of medical marijuana. Marijuana contains a substance known as CDC, which can be used to treat diseases and disorders such as Epilepsy and Cancer by extracting it from the plant and giving patients concentrated doses in the form of a pill. Marijuana can also be used to treat Multiple sclerosis and Alzheimer’s disease. However, research on using the plant as a treatment for Alzheimer’s has been halted due to the legal status of marijuana. By legalizing marijuana we open up the ability to conduct further research on the plant, which could eventually lead to the development of new and more effective drugs for patients with certain ailments. Also, those who suffer from ailments that marijuana known to cure can begin treatment immediately.
