legalize use of medical marijuana for people with chronic pain or are suffering from cancer.

Created by L.B. on November 18, 2012

I live in constant pain everyday of my life. I do take pain medicine but sometimes I need a little relief. The arthritis get's so bad that I'm nauseous and can't even eat. I was going to a pain management doctor for almost eight years. They wanted a urine sample which I provided and also many times in the past. I couldn't believe it when I received a certified letter from the doctors office. The letter informed me that marijuana [THC] was present in my urine and since it's an illegal substance the doctor would no longer treat me. So after eight years I have to find a new doctor. I made an appointment for a new doctor but they couldn't see me until the 13th of November. I ran out of medicine and got very sick! If only I lived in New Jersey, this wouldn't have happened to me.
