The use of steroids should be legalized and available for use for anyone over the age of 21 for the following reasons.
1. Government regulation of PEDs will make them safer. Consumers will have a better idea of what they are using than if the drugs are purchased from black market vendors.
2. It is a waste of government time, resources, and money to be jailing non-violent steroid users.
3. Legalization removes steroids from the drug trade thus helping to eliminate drug violence.
4. Steroids, like every drug, can have negative side effects. However if used correctly the chance of experiencing these side effects greatly decreases. It is proven that all almost everyone who experiences serious side effects has abused the drug. This is true of any drug.
