legalize weed.

The debate over weed has been going on for too long...it needs to end. In the past decade the use of cannabis as a recreation drug and for medical use has increased dramatically. Around 97 people are arrested each hour for marijuana possession, this literally is filling U.S. prisons with unwanted criminals whose lives are destroyed for what,a drug that has killed 0 people? 15 people die each year by vending machine accidents, and around 443,000 die from smoking each year. So why make a harmless drug that kills less people than vending machines illegal yet a drug (tobacco) that kills 443,000 people a year is legal? How can we sit there and let congress decide that 52% of Americans are wrong? The government is supposed to listen to the people but yet they don't. Let your voice be heard.
