The legalization, regulation and taxation of online poker in America. Currently poker is available in all it's forms at Casino's around the country and the world. Until April 15th, 2011, online, "real money" poker was allowed in this country. Due to the current regulations, which are outdated, it is considered a violation of the 1961 wire act. Poker is a game played against other players, not against the house. It is a recreational pastime of America, like baseball. It is currently played by some 60-80 million america's every week, just not online. It's viewed on TV 365 days a year. Why make it illegal. Why not legalized it, regulate it for safety, and tax it like a regular casino, so everyone can benefit from it. The benefit are endless.
