Legalizing Lane Splitting/Lane Filtering

This petition is to help citizens understand and hopefully grant lane splitting/lane filtering. Many motorcyclists have wanted this legalized in the U.S. for a long time now. Many car drivers look at it as cutting in line or "dangerous" which yes in a sense it is cutting in line...but it's to keep us safe actually especially now with CELL PHONES. Too many drivers are distracted by their cellphones texting and talking not paying attention. I have watched people drive for a minute straight without looking up, and if a they were approaching a red light with a bike stopped in front of them they would have killed that biker. Allowing us to slowly make our way between cars to the front would be more beneficial. There are many more reasons to pass this just do some research, and think about it.
