Legalizing Marijuana

I want to legalize marijuana so we can tax it so California makes the money not the Mexican cartel.So that people can have the freedom of smoking it like alcohol and cigarettes.Who are we to tell people what they can't do ?The government is so old they need to start to listen to the new generation instead the 90 years old in office.There are more people in jail doing more time for marijuana then murders and child molesters something is wrong with that we need change !!!!!!
