Government exists only to benefit we the people, not to benefit itself at our expense in even the smallest amount without our permission.
President, Congress, and Senators are like middle managers, compared to Democracy which is the big boss.
Democracy means toward the goals of we the people, not any specific process of figuring out our goals.
It is government's job to put extreme effort into figuring out what the people want overall, which does not mean a simple average of votes but seeing how all our ideas fit together most consistently.
Any organization which causes our government to act against us, or directly acts or plans to act against us, is an Enemy Of The People.
The job of government includes protecting us, and secondarily if possible protecting itself.
