December 12th, 2012 was supposedly supposed to be an apocalypse, a doomsday, or whatever you believe in. It became so popular by both believers and non-believers that everyone had to know what would happen. This request is to make sure that we don't let those amazing memories we had die so easily.
I'm not asking for it to be observed like a National holiday with days off, but for it to be recognized and put into calenders and history books as the day that the world stood strong, fists clenched, ready to take on whatever the Mayan's wanted to throw at us. And we, not as Americans, but as an entire planet, stood together to keep the things that we hold dear to us safe, and in the end, came out victorious.
