Ian Ghilardi, a normally peaceful resident of Hartland Michigan, recently damaged his home by inadvertently starting a toaster fire. If signed into law, Ian would no longer be able to start toaster fires. This would save many homes, prevent unnecessary CO2 emissions and reduce the number of calls to the fire department by maybe eventually one or two.
