Legally prohibit employers from discriminating based on body modification -- piercings, tattoos, hair color, etc.

Created by T.G. on April 12, 2013

Prohibit employers from discriminating against their employees based on visible or non-visible tattoos, piercings facial or otherwise, hair color found in nature or otherwise, or any other type of body modification as a form of self-expression.
It's time to evolve and accept body modification as a normal part of life. Tattoos, piercings, and exotic hair cuts/colors are becoming increasingly common. Self-expression is a huge part of being an American. Many jobs already require a dress code -- to allow employers to prohibit the only other means of self-expression their employees have besides clothing infringes upon our freedom.
(hair color/cuts included, because presently, many employers are more strictly controlling decisions about hair than more permanent body modifications.)
