Legislation that would require all potential teachers employed in a city school to be trained as police officers first.

Teachers should be required to attain a degree of certification from state or local police academies. The idea is that if teachers are traines law enforcement personell, they would be capable of better protecting their children. The fiscal reaponsibility would lie in the hands of the teacher who wants the job. This day and age just teaching is not enough, our children need protection.
