LegislatI've work week, vacation, and pay increase policies

All working members of the governing legislatIive branch are required to work a standard 5 day (50 hour minimum) work week 52 weeks per year excluding federal holidays and earned vacation time. The legislative branch will no longer take recess, allowed to vote and pass their own working calendar, nor be allowed to vote and pass their own salary increases, they must be voted on by the American people. Members of the legislative branch will earn vacation time based upon time served; After 6 months of service new members of the legislative branch may take 1 week vacation that must be used prior to their 1 year of service date, each full year of service will get an equal number of vacation weeks capping out at 4 weeks vacation (vacation time does not roll over to the following year)
