The FCC regulates the communications sent through airways via television and radio. But with censorship like this is put in place, it censors the humanity in the programing we consume. This petition is to have the Obama administration work with congress to have the FCC lessen the restrictions set in place in relation to the profanity used within our media. It is said that the current policies in place are used to protect children from adult language. At the cost of children's protection, we have started to censor the artwork this realm of media produces. I am asking the FCC to allow media producers and creators to use whatever language they choose, and relay on the idea that parents who are concern of the "Harmful" effects of profanity on their children can control their own television.
