On behalf of all of the armed forces who keep this nation safe, there are changes that need to happen immediately and include all those previously enlisted.
We are astounded that the man who shot Bin Laden and all our Veterans' are shamefully treated by the US Govt. The job they do to protect our country is no ordinary job and should not be treated as such. 20 YEARS to get their pension--no different from a man sitting behind a desk risking nothing! That makes no sense, but it DOES explain in part of why many of our Vets have severe mental problems when they get out!
We the People respectfully ask that the currently required 20 years be reduced to 15 years in order to be eligible for pension and that ongoing healthcare, including psychological, be provided for them by the US Government.
