The 50 states are capable of creating laws and enforcing them in ways they seem fit. Issues on gun control, abortion, gay marriage, marajuana use, etc. should be handled on the state level. The bill of rights and all following amendments the comprise the constitution of the United States should be the only laws that bind all states together as a nation. If a state votes to ban semi automatic rifles than the people have spoken, but that vote will not affect the other states. God bless America.
