This issue deeply impacts transgender individuals. I am calling on Congress and the Obama Administration to pass laws that allow transgender people to use the right bathroom. The bathroom that matches their identity. The fact that some transgender individuals cannot use their correct bathroom is a atrocity and a stain on the American society. It's pathetic.
They deserve and must remain the right to use the bathroom that matches their gender identity for their safety and mental well-being. There are an estimated 700,000 people in the United States who are transgender. Are we really going to keep 700,000 people from going to the right bathroom?
