It is the People's 2nd Amendment right that is in question, so it should be the people who get to decide to change it or not. It should not be left up to ANY politician who has ever accepted gun lobby or NRA money towards their campaign.
It is a DIRECT conflict of interest to have any of those politicians voting on this issue. It eliminates gerrymandering, eliminates any filibuster. It empowers the American People to be responsible for making a critical decision that directly effects them and future generations.
