We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Let the American people decide what to do with Social Security and Medicare.

Created by K.L. on November 15, 2016

I disagree with dismantling Social Security and Medicare as it stands. I don't think the Government should make this decision without the say of the People. We should have the choice. Social Security and Medicare is not only for retired persons. It is also for the mentally and physically handicapped people in our country. This should not be decided by one party. It needs to be decided by the people it will affect since those within the government have their own separate governement retirement plans.
