Let Chelsea Manning rot in prison!

Created by D.G. on December 12, 2016

Chelsea Manning was arrested, pleaded guilty to 10 charges and was convicted of another 17 charges. All told the plea and guilty verdicts could have seen Manning sentenced to 90 years in prison. Manning got off lightly!
The leaks put American service members as well as Afghan informants lives in danger. Manning was convicted on 5 counts of espionage as well as 12 other related charges. Manning apologized to the court saying in part: "I am sorry that my actions hurt people. I'm sorry that they hurt the United States." Being sorry does nothing to mitigate the harm caused to the United States and its interests around the world.
Manning received far less than what should have happened and does NOT deserve early release.
