This is not on behalf of the southern states this is on behalf of the northern states who are tired of taking care of the less productive states. The old Confederate states rank near the bottom in education and healthcare but rank near the top at gun violence, poverty and taking more federal dollars than they contribute.
By letting the South go our education and healthcare system will immediately improve and we can pass much needed gun regulations and bank reform. Send them a bill for their share of the Debt and use the guard to protect the northern border.
