Let consumers with Apple devices have the freedom to choose Swype for an input method.

We, the undersigned, ask the Obama administration to contact Apple and Nuance and encourage them to address the consumer requests regarding the Swype input method currently available on competing devices but not Apple's. The input method has been demonstrated on Jailbroken Apple products as fully viable; however, Apple has refused to allow consumers the freedom to install Swype on nonjailbroken devices. They have also failed to properly address the issue regarding why this option is not available to the consumer. I would hope to expect Apple and Nuance see how many consumers want it based on this petition. Multiply that by the sales through iTunes and, perhaps, the Obama administration doesn't need to be bothered with this as the compelling economic reasons appear. Thank you
