Let doctors decide what to prescribe, not the insurance company

I am petitioning for the Administration and Congress to review the health care law in regards to insurance. An issue is the Insurance Companies are requiring preauthorization approval of medication that the Doctor prescribes. In communicating with the insurance company representative, they state the process if to deny or approve the utilization of the drug. It should be between the Doctor and the Patient on what prescriptions are approved. If the insurance has it on their approved list of prescriptions, it should be able to be prescribed by the Doctor and the patient be able to get it filled immediately.
