This is a quote from the film AIR BUD: WORLD PUP, which I just rewatched on Netflix.
Mr.President, members of the board, you've made so much social progress yet time and again neglect the scientifically-proven FACT that a dog is just as qualified to kick a ball as you or I - maybe more so.
Please change the official FIFA rulebook to state: "If a dog is physically & cognitively capable, they should be given equal consideration to play professional soccer". Maybe basketball too, time will tell.
Buddy ("Air Bud") taught us that a dog may be different, but it still has a heart. Do you?
